The Keller Compass Center houses New Direction High School (NDHS) and KISD's disciplinary alternative education program (DAEP). These are two distinct entities within one building.

New Direction High School is a unique high school designed to meet the academic and whole child development of students who need an alternative setting to the comprehensive high school environment. High school students who are interested in attending NDHS must obtain an application from their campus school counselor who will provide further instruction.

DAEP is an alternative education program for students who violate a district's Student Code of Conduct or certain other offenses.

Keller Compass Center is open from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
